Mark was my sales person. He was friendly at the beginning when my husband and I went in. Immediately though there were excuses about getting a new laptop and not sure how to work it. We weren't able to get the casement windows we wanted because we were told the brands they deal with do not provide that. However we were informed by our handy person to get Milgard as they are one of the best. So we opted for something similar. We were told two weeks to get this $2,500 window. After two weeks, which was holding our remodeling up, we heard nothing so I called and emailed mark. Excuses were made and mark put me off into someone i hadn't even been introduced to. It was only after I became assertive that someone ( again someone is did not know) called and miraculously my window was ready. Remember to read your contract thoroughly as I signed mine in haste thinking you spend $2,500 on a window and they might deliver it, especially 2 miles from the store but they would for an extra $450.

The customer service was terrible here. I will never be back because of how I was treated and warning others. I wanted to give business to a local business rather than a conglomerate however I'll be searching for a different local business to do my future renovations with.

If you're considering replacing a sliding kitchen window with a garden window, I highly recommend contacting Southgate Glass to get an estimate. They were very quick about visiting my house to measure for the new garden window. The most welcome surprise, though, was the absolutely amazing estimate I received for the cost of a very large garden window - a price that no other business could come close to. I'll post a picture of the garden window after it's installed in approximately one month. So far, I couldn't be more satisfied

However, Keith, the install manager, went above and beyond to resolve the problem with the window manufacturer on our behalf. His dedication to ensuring our satisfaction is commendable.

I searched all over for replacement rollers for my 45 year old sliding glass door and someone suggested Southside Glass. Michael and Tom researched what would work for me and when they realized they did not have it in stock, they found them in stock on-line at Home Depot. This company won't install a new window unless I know where a leak is coming from on an originally installed window. This is odd as my home was built in 60's. Heck, all the windows need replacing.

The first time they came, they measured the window and came out to fix it but we had an issue with receiving the payment from the tenant that broke the window so we had to reschedule,
The next time they came out, they didn't bring a piece of glass big enough to fix the window so we had to reschedule again but had to wait for the new piece of glass because it had to be special ordered.
As soon as they received the glass, they sent out two very polite and knowledgeable technicians that fixed the window very quickly and made sure that it looked absolutely perfect before they left.
I would highly recommend using these guys. They were all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and they were all 100% willing to accommodate our fairly minimal scheduling availability.
