We had our approx. 140 sf kitchen remodeled in the summer of 2022. This project included a full tear out down to the studs, and we brought in all new flooring, cabinets, counters, plumbing, appliances, trim and molding, paint, lighting/electrical, and even had to replace two exterior windows with shorter ones to accommodate new counters. We contacted Robert Calvo to give us a quote and I was pleasantly surprised that his quote was very reasonable.

Overall, he did fantastic work. He was on time in the mornings and he worked full days diligently. He completed the project in roughly the time that he originally estimated (there were some supplier delays that weren’t his fault). He even went out of his way to work around our schedule when he came back to the job a couple months later to install the last pieces that were significantly delayed, and he didn’t even think to charge us extra for it.

He provided constructive feedback throughout the design and construction process so we could make the most educated decisions about how to design the layout, what materials to use, and more. He welcomed our questions throughout the process and was eager to accommodate some of our pickier requests without asking for change orders. He was very communicative and always made sure we were happy with the way things were looking as it came along.

While he was working in our home, he was also very courteous and did everything I’d expect to make sure the dust and mess never migrated to other parts of the house. He made sure to cause as little interruption to our already interrupted lives as he could. Overall, we could not be happier with our experience and with how the kitchen turned out in the end. I would highly recommend Robert as a general contractor for any home remodel.

Robert is that rare contractor that does what he says he'll do and charges what he says he'll charge. We have a 60 year old house so there are always surprises when you start opening up walls, but Robert's calm demeanor and knack for solving problems kept the stress to a minimum. I had a great experience with Robert (and his helper, Mike). Robert installed new flooring throughout my house, new baseboards, painted the interior, installed new kitchen and bathroom cabinets, sinks and faucets. He also installed new kitchen appliances, back splash and all new interior doors. He was professional, always punctual, great attention to detail, takes pride in his work and made sure I was completely satisfied. He kept me informed each step of the way, was well organized and always left things clean and tidy at the end of each day. Robert is very easy to work with and he had a lot of good ideas and recommendations. I will definitely use him again and I'd highly recommend him.

Robert came through on a residential addition that I couldn't finish after a shoulder injury. He literally had to pick up the pieces of where I left off and finish the project. Robert did the trim and baseboards, flooring, interior painting, cabinet painting and hardware and door assembly, lights, plumbing and fixtures and exterior stair fixes called by the building inspector, I'm sure I'm missing something. Robert did it all and he did it on time, the right way (even correcting some of my shoddy work), showed up every day and worked until the project was completed. He even showed up to the final inspection to make sure nothing was left undone. He came through in a clutch situation and I am forever grateful.

Robert and his crew is very experienced,  detailed and hard working.   I hired them to do dryrot repairs before having my house painted.   I am very particular on how I want things.  My Grandfather and Uncle where homebuilders and so I know the difference between a good and bad job.  This is tough for less experienced and knowledgeable professionals,  but this did not phase them.  We walked the job and went over everything in detail and he provided a very competitive bid.  During the job they ended up finding more dryrot then initially expected,  but he just got it done, and didnt "nickel and dime" me.  He was also honest enough to admit he broke one of my tiles while on the roof and offered to fix it and even noted some other broken tiles in other places that he took care of for me as well- no charge.  While I did not expect it he even offered to drive 40 minutes away to pick up the exact lightweight tiles from the manufacturer.  He also worked very well with my painters to make sure everything was caulked and prepped property to ensure a long lasting product.  My home feels like new again.  Thanks guys you went above and beyond.  It was almost like I hired a good friend to work on my home.
