I bought a nice old Persian rug at an estate sale, but it had old rug pad remnants stuck all over the back. I contacted JL Carpet and Upholstery via their website form, and they quickly got back to me to provide a quote. The rug took about 2 weeks to come back and it was beautiful! Highly, highly recommend Jarred & co.

Highly recommend! Was having a terrible time getting my off-white sofa clean, despite it being upholstered in a supposedly easy to maintain fabric. Trying to clean up after my dog had left terrible water rings. I saw great reviews for JL Carpet and Upholstery, called, and Charles came and did a fabulous job. My sofa looks as good as new!

I had a rug for about 8 years and it needed a really good clean before my family moved into our new apartment. I posted a request on Facebook for recommendations on a rug cleaning company and was recommended to check out J.L. Carpet and Upholstery. Every part of the experience working with Jarred was wonderful! He got back to me swiftly after I requested a quote. Communication for pick up and drop off was easy and smooth and Jarred got back quickly whenever I had any questions. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with this company and will be using them again in the future.

We were recommended this business by multiple locals from a neighborhood Facebook group. I brought Jared my great grandmothers 100 year old Persian rug that my grandmother kept dusty in her basement for over 50 years. Jared and his team restored the fringe on the rug and gave her a long awaited wash. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! Even the cat approves. I wish we had more rugs to bring to Jared!

I recently had two carpets cleaned, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Jarred, was fantastic, he was extremely helpful and made the entire process seamless. He coordinated both the pick-up and delivery perfectly. The carpets came back looking fresh and spotless. I highly recommend JL for their excellent service and professionalism. I had 4 Moroccan rugs and 1 wool pile rug picked up and cleaned and I have mixed feels:

Pros: Communication was great, scheduling was easy. When I had an issue, they were quick and to fix it with an explanation. Everyone I interacted with was lovely. Prices were reasonable and weren’t much higher than cheaper option.

Cons: I’m not actually sure my rugs were cleaned after two rounds of picks ups and drop offs. I had them picked up, cleaned, and delivered once. Upon unwrapping them the first time I noticed none of them had been cleaned - still extremely dusty and even had an easily removed sticker attached from my movers. It looked like they were tagged, rolled up, and put in plastic bags without being touched by even a vacuum. I complained and they apologized and scheduled a second round of pick ups for cleaning for free (great!). I just got the rugs back again and I can’t actually tell if they were cleaned. They have less dust on them but my vaccum is still picking up a lot. They don’t really smell like anything which I guess is good but the pile rug still has some staining on the edges that I thought would be easy to get out by professional. Not enough to deal with the whole process of pick up and drop off again.

Everyone was super nice so I feel guilty about my somewhat negative experience but I went with JL because they seemed professional and legit over a cheaper option and now I’m not sure if that was the correct choice and don’t want to pay another $1k to find out. Such is life.
