I would say I don't ever buy hats. But there was a special promotion that went on last weekend where Lids was offering free Kobo Bryant embroidery on any hat. Even ones that you brought from home in honor of his passing.

Marc was the only one working when I came in on Saturday. He had already had a stack of hats waiting to be embroidered. I purchased two hats and was leaving one to be embroidered. He told me it would be two hours so I said I would just come back the following day.

I came back on Sunday to pick up the hat and he remembered which one was mine. The image I want had the number 24 instead of 8 but he was happy to redo it for me although he had a long line of items still waiting. He was very nice and I would definitely go back here to buy a hat if needed in the future.

While visiting the Mall recently, I stopped into Lids Hatworld at Lakeline Mall, looking for Some Dallas Cowboy Gear, they had a few nice hats, of all the sports teams and you could get your favorite hat from any team here including the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texas, or Houston Astros, I didnt find my size looking for a fitted Hat but glad we stopped in.

Had been waiting for them to open, just for this guys to open and close at the same time and put up this sign. It’s been 30 minutes and nothing this store is still closed.

Hatworld is essentially a Lids in the mall. The store is fine but for a place called HatWorld there is a surprising lack of hat variety. Also, when I went to purchase my hat they had to use a square handheld reader that barely had any service so I had to stand there for 5-10 minutes while he kept trying to get it to connect. Not very professional and it seemed like this was how it was always done.

Poor service and lack of respect. Went yesterday to ask about Kobe patches for hats. Guys working there were mad they were backed up. Didn’t want to help me and were rude when I asked for hat sizes. I already hated lids for their basic selection and staff but thought I would give another chance. Never again walking into a store. Lids is the Gamestop of the hat game.

The customer service is horrible. We purchased a hat there and they told us we could get a design added for 12.99 and it would be 20 mins but we waited there over an hour and the guy hadn't even gotten started on it but told us 3 times when we kept going back he would get started on it and he never did! They close at 5pm at it was 3:00 when I went in there and we finally left at 4:45. DON'T GO THERE! GO TO THE ONE IN RR OUTLET, IT IS WAY BETTER THAN THE ONE HERE AT LAKELINE. The employees could care less about the customers!

Hats off to Lids/Hatworld at Lakeline for their EXCELLENT customer service ..... Specifically to the new peeps running the store Jaybee and James!

Lids was recommended to us by a friend who said they have quality hats and do custom embroidery. We have a logo/company name already in DST format and wanted to get some nice hats done for ourselves and clients.

Despite being very busy on a holiday weekend Jaybee and James gave us great attention and service, understood what we wanted to do, and made it happen (logo I front/website on back in custom colors). Not only were they able to do a few while we waited when we made our larger order it was within a few short days. They were very patient with is in picking out hats and colors!

We just placed our first group order and look forward to placing more as their quality, pricing, and service were fantastic! Thanks Jaybee and James!
