This was the first shopping experience at Grainger for me. I wanted some industrial grade double sided tape that would hold the weight of a security camera. Places like Home Depot didn't have what I was looking for. After checking the Grainger website, I saw they had exactly what I needed.

I thought they would be like a hardware store where you go in and browse the aisles until you find what you're looking for. WRONG! They specialize in customer service and a helpful, friendly employee helps you get the product you need. Fortunately I had a print out of the product I wanted. I was told it was not in stock at the store but they could get it for me by 9:30 tomorrow morning and offered to email me as soon as it came in. Sure enough they had it before 9:30 the next day.

Next time I will be a smarter shopper and either place an order online or call in an order now that I know their system. I needed this tape in 2 days and I don't think I could have gotten it anywhere else this quickly since it was an unusual product. Kudos to Grainger!

Be careful when you go here and ask for a price before you pay. I was charged $375 for 24 2' by 4' ceiling tiles for the drop down ceilings in commercial buildings. Everywhere else I look these same ceiling tiles are going for $50 for 16 tiles. Ridiculous!

The service instore was fine, however when leaving the store I tripped on the parking lot curbing, tearing my pants at the right knee and my knee was scrapped and bleeding.
Went back inside the store and asked for help, the staff was less than helpful, they said they don't take reports and the best they they could do for first aide was offering duct tape to cover the ripped pants, I asked to speak to manager and was told he wasn't available.

Arrived there around 4:20 about 10 minutes before closing time looking for a plunger casket which they don't have. The guy waiting on me was a little impatient and had a attitude. Trash!

You can no longer call and speak with anyone at the store, so instead you get an “expert” who has never been outside in the field in her life at a call center. Have fun with that! I’ll find another venue for supplies that answers their in store phone!
