Course was in great shape! Greens were fast but receptive. Hole 10 was modified from a par 5 to a par 3 due to construction but that seems to be temporary. You can't beat the price, anywhere else comparable was twice the price! The negative reviews are unfair in this course's current condition. My only complaint was the bunkers were all wet, heavy sand and hard to get a feel for. I did play first thing in the morning so that may have played a part in that.

Myself and a buddy decided to play one last round on a golf trip very last minute. We were flying out at 2pm, we chose Cathedral Canyon, mostly because it is only 10-ish minutes from the airport and the price was too good to be true. I called and spoke with Noreen in the pro shop at 6:45am on a Sunday hoping for a last minute tee time and she was awesome! Keeping price in mind, this course was perfect. Greens and fairways were in very good condition. Thanks Noreen!

This golf course and their grounds are an eye sore. As an owner of a home in the country club, it’s an embarrassment, but unfortunately Hyatt Vacation Club and JC Golf manage the golf course, “clubhouse” Jax 🤮🤣, the dented front security gates, the empty security office, and clearly couldn’t care less about the aesthetic. In season, they pull weeds and touch up here and there, but it still looks like a dump. The pictures of this club and greens on their website are 100% misleading.

It’s not near as bad as most reviews say it is. It’s a decent course. I wouldn’t come to town just to play it again but it’s relatively cheap and in fairly good shape. A few holes need work but overall I had a good time.
