I was told this was the best place in town and they were “professionals”. I took a prom gown there to be hemmed. It was a two layer gown with the outside layer completely sequined. When it was tried on in the house, it looked perfect!! However, one hour prior to the event, with each step the sequins fell off the bottom of the gown. When the outer layer was hemmed, she cut all the leads attaching the sequins without securing them. It was left unfinished. I went in to see if anything could be done to fixed it for resale but I was told the only option was to cut it shorter and sell it to a short person. And then she blamed the poor quality of the dress for the mishap. My take was that it was the poor workmanship and attention to detail. The only positive outcome was that I pushed for a refund for the bill and got it…but that $30 refund still doesn’t soothe the burn of owning a $400 ruined gown.

I received my daughter’s dress Monday night (prom being Friday) and it was too big. I instantly became stressed as i knew we were pressed for time to either locate a new dress to be sent and hopefully fit or to find someone who could alter it. I called a few people and was declined. Until finally i reached out to Lee’s and was told yes but have to bring it in today (Tuesday afternoon). Still pressed for time because work hours, we were able to get there in time and get fitted. I was advised it would be ready Friday (prom night) by 3. We were so nervous but O! M! G! The dress was everything! We couldn’t even tell that it had been altered. My daughter and i were soooo satisfied. I cannot thank them enough for doing such a great job in such little time! My daughter enjoyed her prom and won best dressed! Thank you!

I went to get a dress altered and it was a terrible experience. The first time I took it, it seemed like they didn’t even touch the dress. When I asked them to fix it, the seamstress seemed as though she had an attitude and I HAD TO PAY A SECOND TIME. I will never go back to this place. I ended up having to take it somewhere else and they did an awesome job fixing it. Please avoid going here if possible.

Prices and services depend on the day and Amy's mood. I wanted to get a pants suit altered and Amy told me the alterations could not be done because of the material. I returned two weeks later with the same suit and the alterations were done without issue. Same applies for pricing. She pulls the prices from the top of her head and they definitely vary based on her mood and possibly workload. Today she tried to charge me double the price I paid for less items than the last two times I used them for the same type of alterations. I even heard her husband quote someone beside me a significantly lower price for the same type of alteration! The work is good, but customer service matters. I won't be back.
